It was a great privilege and a blessing to conduct a Leadership training here in Palawan. It was obvious specially to us as staff and even to the District Board who are aware of our unstable financial situation. At times our commitment and faith may be tested if we will just look at those problems. We cannot attain something that seems impossible. We realize that we can only trust and look to the One who is able to make the impossible to be possible. At times we ask where our faith is. What should we do?
Building lives and future leaders has always been a very challenging and difficult task. We see concerned individuals striving to raise materials and funds for the event. It is enough to fuel the desire in our hearts to get focused and trust the Lord for his provision. The training started last December 19 and ended onthe 22nd of the said month. Praise God for the seventeen (17) graduates, ten (10) delegates for the Caring Circle lessons, two (2) from Basic Team building Laboratory and five (5) for theAdvanced Team Building Laboratory who were all Social Work students from Western Philippines University.
It always takes courage and faith to go an extra mile, if we know whom to trust. We went through rough times but he was our faithful rescuer. He is our constant help in times of need. Let us not waste potential opportunities of blessings from Him. We can have SUCCESS!To God be the Glory.
