"The New Thing"

The year 2012 ushered in a lot of “new things” for me, one of which is becoming the chairman of the board of PSALM Meto Manila District. I had never planned for it but God in His wisdom intended it otherwise.

The Lord wanted me to continue the rebuilding" process that has already been laid by those before me through assiduous efforts, well invested time, and shared resources. The fruits of the ministry that we are enjoying now came from the dedicated and loving ministry of the previous board of directors and staff.

I enjoinws every true blooded PSALMistas to fervently pray and unswervingly support the vision laid before us. We aim to achieve this during the full three-year term of the present board of directors.

1. God will raise three (3) more additional full time staff for the Metro Manila District to make it six (6) as we are praying to open more campuses especially at the university belt in Manila. The Lord of the harvest will send us the right staff for the time such as ours!

2. God will raise fifty (50) more student leaders who are transformed by the Gospel in their different campuses to become disciple-makers and witness its transforming power at work in the lives of their fellow students. The miracle of changed lives!

3. God will raise eight (8) more committed members of the District Board of Directors who will rally together with the staff and student leaders in fulfilling this vision - the joy of seeing students, families and communities coming to the Lord with a repentant heart. God is not yet through...

Now, let us resolve to participate in the ministry of reaching the "lost" and the "unchurched" for the Gospel and continue the work of rebuilding. It does not matter if our "brick" is small or large. The truth is our brick is unique...our bricks are important to fill in the "gaps" in the ministry. Each brick COUNTS!

May God richly bless you with "New Things"! Blessed CHRISTmas and a bountiful 2013 to EVERYONE!

PSALM PROCESSED AND PURIFIED, PSALM National Director Message for PSALM 43rd Anniversary

"Before God can use you, you have to be prepared, purified, and purged into the leader you have the potential to become" – John Maxwell

Last year was my first year as the National Director in PSALM. It has been a process of learning and unlearning – a process of purging and purifying my being.
