Psalm USA held its second Alumni Homecoming event last November 9 t0 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The alumni came from all over the United States and the Philippines, hosted by Grace Carey, Sanee Lacson and Heidi Gimotea. The two-day program started with a tour of Death Valley National Park which is famous being the setting for outer space scenes in movies like Star Wars and other similar genre.

It was a bonding time for the attendees as they view the breath-taking panorama of mountains, hills and valleys in different vibrant colors. God's perfect and unique sculpture and creation is displayed in all its best essence! The picture above was taken with the wonderful gold tinted skies of sunset as a background. The event brought out laughter and smiles as the group was having the time of their lives while reminiscing the fun-filled days as students and staff of PSALM way back then. After the tour, a special dinner was hosted by Grace Carey and her husband Michael in celebration of Michael's birthday. They were joined by Tia, the daughter of Michael who came to bring a birthday cake with balloons and gifts for her Dad.
On the second day and back in Las Vegas, a whole day meeting was held in the office of Sanee Lacson that started with community singing led by Ms. Heidi Gimotea, a former staff of PSALM - Zamboanga .

It was a fruitful time of sharing and consultation since Engineer Jojo Ebarle who is the current Chairman of the National Board was present together with his wife, Gay, also the current National Resource Director of PSALM. Participants were asked to introduce themselves and share current and personal updates. Ms. Lilian Pada and Vicki Lim were also asked to give and share their testimonies

A special and challenging message was given by Rev. Juanito " Jun " Palacios, a former Regional Director of PSALM Davao and now the Senior Pastor of Risen Lord Church in New Jersey. His message was lifted from Psalm 117 that focused on the theme about doing the mission of the Lord so that people will come to worship God.

During the lunch break, a special time for music was scheduled and the group was privileged to listen to the music of Mr. John Lee, a talented singer and musician based in Las Vegas. He sang the mellow songs of Nat King Cole and other famous artists from the 60's up to the present. All enjoyed the music that later they joined him in singing the songs that everyone was familiar with. After lunch the meeting resumed and discussions on some of the present challenges facing PSALM.
There was a general consensus that Psalm USA would undertake some steps to help resolve some of the problems that beset our campus ministry in the Philippines. The discussions were long and extensive that the meeting ended at about 11:00 in the evening.
The group had a late dinner at Jollibee which was hosted by Ms. Heidi Gimotea, a former staff from Zamboanga and her husband Willard who is currently on vacation from his deployment in Afghanistan.

The Psalm Alumni Homecoming event was undoubtedly a big success. The two days came so fast and as everybody bid each other goodbye, the emotions were high along with the expectations of the next reunion. It was resolved and agreed that the next alumni homecoming will be held in Los Angeles by the third week of October. The person in charge of the event is Mr. Toto Antonio who is currently the Vice-President of Psalm USA. Rev. Steve Gusto, the Senior Pastor of Alliance Bible Church in Paramount, Los Angeles has offered his church as venue for the next event. All PSALM alumni in the USA, Canada and elsewhere are invited to join in this year's homecoming event.
Acknowledging every individual attendees of this event with thanks for their presence and ardent participation:
